APS offers a series of workshops designed to provide women physicists with professional training in effective negotiation, communication and leadership skills.  In addition, the workshops offer a special opportunity for networking. In 2009, the two professional skills development workshops will offer separate sessions for women postdoctoral associates and tenured women faculty in physics prior to the APS annual meetings to be held in Pittsburgh (March 15) and Denver (May 1).
